FOOTBALL

Football or soccer is an eleven-a-side ball and goal game played throughout the world and is probably the most popular game
There is evidence that a form of football called " Tsu Chu" was played in China 2,500 years ago. Tsu may be translated as " to kick the ball with feet" and Chu as " a ball made of leather and stuffed". There are also early depiction of this game in Yugoslavia, Greece and England. Organized football with acceptable common rules was started at Cambridge as early as 1846. The game was standardized with the formation of the Football Association in England on 24 October 1857. The Federation International de Football Association (FIFA) was founded in Paris on 21 May 1904.
