| 1. Basic recruits course :- The duration of this course is 9 months and normally conducted from April to December. This course includes physical training and provide basic inputs regarding police rules and regulations. This course is meant for newly recruited male constables. |

2. Elementary traffic course :- The duration of this course is 4 weeks and has maximum 50 seats capacity. This course has been designed to impart training about traffic rules etc. to the constables. This course is especially meant for constables. |
| 3. Weapon and Tactics, Field and Field Engineering Course :- The duration of this course is 8 weeks and has capacity of 100 seats. This course is specially designed for ASIs/HCs/ Constables for imparting specialized training in weapons and tactics. |  |

4. Reorientation course :- The duration of this course is six days and is designed for constables and Head Constables for imparting training about behaviors of police towards public. |
| 5. Conversion course :- The duration of this course is four months and is for Constables on transfer from Commando Battalions. This course is designed to create awareness about working in the changed atmosphere after the conversion from Commando to District Police. |  |

6. Capsule course :- The duration of this course is four months and is designed for SPOs to be enlisted as Constables. |
| 7. Detective foot Constable course :- The duration of this course is four months and is specially designed for Constables (preferably for C-II). |  |

8. Review of training and training of trainers course :-The duration of this course is three days and is specially designed only for the staff of Recruits Training Centre. |
| 9. Other course:- The duration of this course is 12 weeks and specially designed for imparting training to the Constables on list C-II to work as HCs. |  |
