INTRODUCTION

 

 

            This handbook has been brought out to facilitate dissemination of basic information about Punjab Police for the citizens under “The Right to information Act, 2005”.  It contains a brief information about the working of Punjab Police so that a citizen should have a basic idea as to which office he/she should approach for getting response.

            The information in this handbook is organized in the form of Chapters.  Each chapter pertains to a manual specified in “The Right to information Act, 2005”.
