Defending Champions  Punjab Police maintained their winning spree. In the team event finals, Punjab Police team captained by Sh. S.,M. Sharma, IPS, ADGP defeated CRPF.
                        In the single match of team event Sh. S.M. Sharma, IPS of Punjab Police beat Dr. Kenjom of CRPF 6-1, 7-5. In the doubles of team event S.M. Sharma, IPS and Ashish Kapoor, DSP of Punjab Police forced victory after trailing in the first set 2-6. Final scores are 2-6, 6-4 (10 – 3) . Earlier during the day, Ashish Kapoor DSP of Punjab Police beat Dr. Kenjom of CRPF  8 – 2. Sh. S.M. Sharma, IPS also won the veteran singles title defeating Sh Madhusudan Rao, IPS of Andhra Police 8-7.  The 40 plus category Doubles title was won by Dr Arun Sharma of Punjab Police & Sh Madhusudan Rao of AP Police, who defeated Sh. S.K. Upadhay,IPS & Sh Tukyandi, IPS of Tamil Nadu Police. Punjab Police & CRPF were declared joint winners in the open doubles. H.E Sh B.L. Joshi, Hon’ble Governor of Uttrakhand gave away the prizes in an impressive ceremony.
